Garlic Croutons

1 loaf French bread or Sourdough Bread
1/2 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Using a bread knife or a serrated knife, cut the bread into one-inch cubes. Mix olive oil with minced garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl.

Place bread cubes in a large bowl and drizzle olive oil mixture over. Stir well with a large spoon.

Place bread cubes on a large shallow baking pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown, turning every 10 minutes. Sprinkle with additional salt, if needed.

Note: These can be stored in an airtight container for several days.
