Spiced Nuts with Rosemary
1/3 pounds cashews, unsalted
1/3 pounds almonds, unsalted
1/3 pound pecan halves, unsalted
1/3 pound peanuts, unsalted
3 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1-1/2 tablespoon salt
3 teaspoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons melted butter.
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine rosemary, cayenne, brown sugar, salt and melted butter. Thoroughly toss toasted nuts with spiced butter. Spread nuts out on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Tip: Buy the nuts in the bulk section of your supermarket.
